The repairs partnership between Crown Simmons Housing and KNK has been shortlisted as one of the ‘Most Innovative Repairs & Maintenance Scheme’ in the national Housing Innovation Awards.
The innovative Repairs and Maintenance Scheme launched by Crown Simmons features the use of innovative technology, and enhanced sustainability standards, to provide responsive, cyclical and void works, and excellent customer services, to Crown Simmons’ residents.
The shortlisting comes after a successful first year of the contract between Crown, in which KNK arrange and complete all of the repairs for Crown Simmons’ residents.
The arrangement which includes responsive repairs, void works and planned maintenance, was put in place in direct response to customer feedback and was designed to deliver a high quality, convenient to use and value for money service for residents.
Paul Yates, Chief Executive at Crown Simmons Housing said, “We want to provide the best possible service for our residents. I am delighted that the partnership has been shortlisted for the award, especially as Innovation is one of our key values”
