NOW RECRUITING: PROPERTY SERVICES OFFICER

We are looking for a Property Services Officer to join our Customer Services Team. The post is based in Esher, Surrey KT10 9QY.

Crown Simmons Housing manages just under 700 homes mainly in North Surrey and London, with a further 39 in development. Our origins can be traced back to 1959.

Having recently approved a new Strategic Plan for 2017-2021 and revised our Business Plan, we are looking to significantly increase our stock numbers by a further 130 homes over the next five years, to continue to provide great customer service and be a great place to work.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic person to assist our Team in achieving our ambitious objectives of providing the best service to our customers and developing more good quality and affordable homes. You will be committed to providing a comprehensive and efficient service in compiling and implementing the organisation’s planned maintenance programme and overseeing the delivery of estate services, responsive repairs and planned & cyclical maintenance projects.

You will report to the Property & Assets Manager and, as part of the Customer Services Team, you will provide a high quality first point of contact in reviewing and managing annual service contracts, ensuring value for money and effective consultation and communication with residents as well as managing the link between planned and responsive repairs.

This is an existing post and we are seeking someone who is highly motivated with strong organisational skills and excellent communication skills. A good standard of literacy and numeracy to GCSE, O Level or equivalent is essential. Relevant qualification in construction and awareness of gas safety, water hygiene, asbestos and electrical safety would be an advantage. You will be expected to have lots of drive and enthusiasm in order to deliver a responsive, professional and friendly service to residents and other stakeholders at all times. A full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle is a requirement.

Contract type: Permanent

Hours of work: 35 hours per week

Salary range: £26,000 – £29,000 per annum (depending on skills & experience)

Car allowance: £1,239
