Southern Housing Group has recently announced a series of webinars in partnership with IT recruitment specialists Rethink Group aimed at supporting residents back into employment.
Many employment sectors have been severely impacted by the current pandemic, and as the country starts to slowly come out of lockdown, we recognise that many of our customers will be looking for work, and possibly considering new careers as employment opportunities change.
The way that companies recruit and work is changing too, with many moving towards online interviews and recruitment, making it more important than ever to be digitally connected.
On 16 June, SHG residents based in Kent, will be offered the chance to participate in a 90-minute webinar, focusing on the issues they are facing as well as their aspirations.
Employment advice and guidance from a qualified employability support (IAG) practitioner and an experienced recruitment professional will also be provided.
Dominic Hilleard, Director of Digital Recruitment Projects, at Rethink Group, said: “As a value driven organisation, this is an excellent opportunity for us to strategically partner with one of our core clients in a meaningful way, providing our expert advice to their residents and those most in need during this pandemic crisis.”
Sarah Hampton, Employment Skills Officer at Southern 360, said: “We are really keen to engage with our residents online to offer employment support, advice and guidance, addressing any issues that people are facing at this time.”
“Working online will enable us to reach a wider network and support those who are facing challenges whilst seeking new opportunities or careers.”
More information about future employment webinars will be communicated to Crown Simmons residents shortly.[Adapted from Anna S., SHG].
