The Iris Simmons Community Award Scheme recognises the work of the late Iris Simmons, a former Mayor of Elmbridge and Crown Simmons Housing founder. The Award Scheme is designed to acknowledge and reward community initiatives that improve housing conditions and the wellbeing of older people in the Borough.
Crown Simmons Housing have been working in partnership with Elmbridge Borough Council to run this award for its third year. Both organisations would like to take this opportunity to thank Cleanscapes, Gilmartins and Cyan IT Solutions for their generous sponsorship which brought the total prize fund to £1,500.
Emma Solomons, Customer Services Director, at Crown Simmons Housing said; “We are delighted to support another three excellent causes this year through the Iris Simmons Award. We are really looking forward to seeing the positive results of this funding over the next year. Many thanks to our sponsors, Cyan IT Solution, Gilmartins and Cleanscapes for making this a possibility”.
