Crown Simmons Housing is delighted to have appointed Mitcham-based KNK Group as its new repairs and maintenance contractor under a long-term partnering agreement for up to 7 years.
The new arrangement with KNK, which will include responsive repairs, void works and planned maintenance, has been put in place in direct response to customer feedback and is designed to deliver a high quality, convenient to use and value for money service for residents.
Paul Yates, Chief Executive at Crown Simmons Housing said,
“We want to provide the best possible service for our residents. Throughout the tender process KNK consistently demonstrated that they have the ability to deliver a service that we can be proud of. I am really confident that this new partnership with KNK will provide our residents with a high quality, consistent service that will generate very high satisfaction levels whilst giving us certainty and much better value for money.”
Kevin Tilly, the KNK Operation Director says of the new arrangement,
“We are delighted to have secured this new contract with Crown Simmons. It will provide us with the opportunity to really demonstrate the breadth of our repairs and maintenance service. We know how important the delivery of a high quality reliable repairs service is to Crown Simmons and their residents therefor we look forward to working alongside them to achieve this.”
The selection process began in Spring 2014 and has seen a number of Crown Simmons residents involved in the procurement process to help choose KNK.
Janet Tucker, a resident involved throughout the tender process for the contractor said of KNK,
