Notice of Intention to Sell

If you wish to sell the shared ownership or leasehold property you own with Crown Simmons Housing,  you must complete this Notice of Intention to Sell.

Before beginning this form please make sure you have read the schedule in your lease that refers to the terms of sale and have the following information in a digital format (.pdf, .jpg, etc):

  • Valuation

    You must provide a valuation for your property performed by a registered RICS Surveyor. You are responsible for the cost of the valuation and the valuation is valid for 3 months. We can arrange the valuation on your behalf and recharge you the cost.

    Please note that when your property is marketed, it should only be marketed at the actual market value.

  • Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)

    You must provide an EPC certificate. This will determine the energy efficiency of the property. You are responsible for the cost of this and having it carried out.

  • Photographs of the inside and outside of your home

    You must provide photographs of the inside/interior and outside/exterior of your home and the building. Please make sure these photos are well-lit, not blurry and show your home in the best way possible. These aid in having more potential buyers look at your home and could potentially help you sell faster.

Please note: You will still be responsible for the above costs if your home does not sell.
